Mark Walsh
President
Mark Walsh has spent his professional career of over 45 years in the hospitality industry, managing and owning businesses, responsible for designing, building and operating some of the areas most popular restaurants. Residing in SW for the past 10 years, he is active in Farmers Markets, President of his residential Tenants’ Association and a community advisor to the SWBID.

Donna Purchase
Treasurer
Donna Purchase has more than 30 years of management experience in corporate and nonprofit businesses. She serves on the boards of three local non-profits and is the recipient of numerous awards including the Women’s Institute for Secure Retirement’s WISER Hero Award for her work in financial literacy.

William Zeisel
Secretary
William Zeisel is a principal of QED Associates LLC, a DC-based consulting firm specializing in research, writing, and management services to nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and government bodies.

Dr. Marjorie Lightman
Dr. Lightman is a Partner in the consulting firm of QED Associates, LLC, headquartered in Washington DC. Over the course of her career, Dr. Lightman has written in a variety of fields, taught, directed projects, led organizations, and sat on boards. She has had experience with museums, non-profit organizations, community groups, public programs, film, and television projects. She has worked in the United States and abroad and has held grants from major foundations including the Ford Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Georgine Wallace
Georgine Wallace has 25 years of experience in human capital development for corporate environments. She has advocated for the DC Public Library system and the Southwest Library specifically for over a decade. Over the last five years, she has worked with the Metropolitan Police Department to facilitate community relations in the Southwest Police Service Areas. A twenty-year resident of Southwest, she also spent sixteen years on the board of her condominium.

Richard Brown
Richard Allen Brown is in hospital administration at Inova Health in Northern Virginia for the past 14 years. He has Extensive healthcare information technology and operations experience used to assist healthcare organizations through re-engineering and process improvement projects involving financial, clinical applications and workflow processes. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has successfully led several projects from concept to completion in his primary work and in community endeavors. He is an adjunct professor in the Allied Health programs at a local Community College. Richard has served as the Board President of his SW Condominium since 2015 and a SW resident for thirty-three years.
